Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD season 5 episode 7 preview: Together or Not At All

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD brings some Kree action to its outer space epic. This week, how will our friends fare against an undefeated warrior?

Agents of SHIELD loves outer space. Granted, we really don’t see much of it in episodes aside from a random glance out a window at an asteroid field. But that’s better than nothing.

In last week’s episode, our team finally reunited (or at least Fitz got to Simmons and Daisy) and tried to get out out Kasius’s clutches.

Now they just need to meet up with Coulson, Mack, Elena, and their new Inhuman friend.

The official synopsis for this week’s episode, courtesy of ABC:

"Just as the team reunites, they become prey to an undefeated Kree warrior who is bent on killing them all."

My best bet on the Kree warrior is Kasius’s brother. He’s so smarmy and full of himself (which sounds about right for that family) that it would make sense he’s undefeated. Or “undefeated” with their father pulling strings. Honestly, I’m just picturing Draco Malfoy at this point.

I’m also sure Deke will come back into the picture at some point in this episode (and not just because he’s in the promo pictures). It’s been a few episodes since his smarmy face has appeared — last seen selling Daisy into slavery.

Are we still to believe that it’s his dad’s voice radioing off the surface of the Earth? I wouldn’t be surprised if our SHIELD friends drag him along to the surface just to see if he’s telling the truth. And, you know, if he isn’t, just leaving him for dead.

How many will die before our SHIELD friends escape the Lighthouse? How many things will May kill on the surface of the Earth before they arrive?

Next: Is a sixth season of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD a possibility?

And how the heck will they make it back to present day and save the world?
