Golden Globes predictions: What is going to win in the television categories

Best Television Series — Musical or Comedy

The comedy category is actually one that I’m not too certain about. My gut says that Master of None is going to take home the Globe. But really any of the nominated shows could take it and that’d be perfect.

The only show that maybe shouldn’t win is Will & Grace. Not that the revival isn’t great (it is), but it’s just that it is a show we’ve seen doing some of the same stuff. It is nice for us to relive what we used to love, but it shouldn’t beat out one of these new comedies.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel would be an incredible win as well as SMILF. Black-ish is always a good show and would be another great win. I just don’t think that Will & Grace has a shot. Personally, I don’t think it should have been nominated when a show like The Good Place exists.

So who’s going to win? I’m sticking with Master of None. But really, anyone can take home this one. It is a great category with amazing shows in it, so really, it just is up to the preference of the voters. Maybe they really liked Will & Grace back in the day, and it’ll win. Who knows!
