Best Supporting Actor

This one is easy. Or maybe not, he might not win, but I think that David Harbour is the easy choice for Best Supporting Actor. Why? Well he’s absolutely incredible as Jim Hopper in the Netflix original series Stranger Things. The show that focuses on the small town of Hawkins, Indiana, Stranger Things completely consumes us when a new season is out.

The second season found us fascinated by the story arc that Hopper had and he instantly became a fan favorite online. So why not give David Harbour the credit he is due? He has consistently given us incredible work throughout most of his career and now that he’s in the forefront of everyone’s mind, we’re finally seeing him get the recognition he deserves.

Hopper is, arguably, one of the best characters on that show (which is saying something since the entire show is filled with amazing characters). I just think that there is something so amazing about David Harbour and his work and he should take home the Globe. If not, then Alexander Skarsgård for his work in Big Little Lies will probably take it home.

That’d also be a good win, but I really think it is just between those two.
