Golden Globes predictions: What is going to win in the movie categories

Best Supporting Actor — Motion Picture

Look I think this category is rigged because I personally think that Sebastian Stan should have gotten nominated for his work in I, Tonya. Am I biased? No, because that’s my favorite movie that came out last year and the fact that the Golden Globes didn’t recognize his work because of how terrible Jeff Gillooly is baffles me.

Anyway, so who is going to actually win this category? Armie Hammer. Sure, everyone is saying that Sam Rockwell is amazing and while I agree, Sam Rockwell is brilliant in everything, Hammer is going to take it home.

Which is great because he’s an incredible actor who’s been trying to find his footing for quite some time. Now that Call Me By Your Name is getting all this buzz, it is nice to see him stepping into the spotlight once again.

Do I think he had the best performance of all? No, but it is the Golden Globes and this is probably the one category that is kind of obvious who is going to take it home. They’re all obsessed with Call Me By Your Name (and for good reason) so this one is an easy win for Armie Hammer and the movie.
