Crazy Ex-Girlfriend season 3 episode 8: Nathaniel Needs My Help!

Rebecca Bunch is back and she’s super in love with Nathaniel in a new episode of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. But it is okay, all she did was still his shirt…

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is back and well, Rebecca Bunch is Rebecca Bunch in an episode based around her working through therapy while also trying to start a relationship with Nathaniel. And maybe that isn’t exactly the best thing for Rebecca.

Throughout the episode, she’s pretty much back to what she did with Josh. Except this time, she is conscious of what she is doing and trying to rationalize it all. Throughout it all though, she comes to the realization that maybe she needs to be on her own for a while to get herself sorted and ultimately breaks up with Nathaniel in the end.

But the episode isn’t entirely about Rebecca. Darryl and Paul are working to get Darryl an egg donor so he can still have a kid on his own while Josh is forced to move out of his parents’ house. All of this isn’t anything compared to what Rebecca is sorting through but still.

The most interesting part is Darryl’s journey. It was the first time that Paula actually saw Darryl as someone with emotions and who got upset. When the egg he purchased didn’t get fertilized, Darryl starts to cry and in that moment, you can see that Paula really understands just how much he wanted it.

But then there is Josh who won’t pack up his closet because he doesn’t want to move out so he just sings karaoke in his room for an entire night. Eventually his mother sings about how she wants him out of the house and Josh, inevitably, moves out.
