Taylor Swift’s ‘Reputation’ Wins Best Album Certified in 2017
By Kara Johnson
It’s turning out that Taylor Swift’s sixth studio album reputation is Taylor Swift’s best album yet. The success hasn’t ended and it won’t be anytime soon.
The RIAA has calculated the best albums certified in 2017, and Taylor Swift’s reputation has won the number one spot. Reputation became 3x platinum in less than a month, which is quicker than any album on the certification list in 2017. The certification became official on December 11, 2017.

Not only has the album been certified multiple times. both “Look What You Made Me Do” and “…Ready For It?” are now certified triple platinum. Her song “Gorgeous” followed suit by snagging a GOLD certification. There’s no doubt that there will be more certifications in place for the reputation era. The album hasn’t even been out for three full months yet, and it’s become one of the most successful in Swift’s career. Once tour starts and another single is released, the album is bound to snag more awards and successes along the way.

Reputation also took the No.1 spot on the Billboard 200 during the last week of 2017, making it the best-selling album of the year by a female with over 2 million copies sold worldwide in its first week. Needless to say, we haven’t seen the last of Swift. Her reign is still very much intact and it will remain that way until another Taylor Swift comes along, meaning that only Swift herself can dethrone Taylor Swift.
Congratulations Taylor on all of your success with reputation. You deserve that and much more.
