The three dogs of Harry Potter: Fang, Fluffy, and Sirius Black

Sometimes, we just have to give thanks to Fluffy, Fang and our other beloved dog of the series: Sirius Black. We’re talking puppers that we just can’t get enough of!

We love dogs, especially ones like Fang. But have you ever stopped to think about the other dogs in the Harry Potter series? When I did, I realized at first that there were just two. Fluffy, the three headed dog that guarded the Sorcerer’s Stone wasn’t exactly a dog I wanted to pet.

But then I thought about it again and you know who else is a dog? Sirius Black. Now I know there’s the saying that ‘men are dogs’ but Sirius Black was literally a dog. Remember? He could transform himself into a black dog and he did so to take Harry to King’s Cross Station.

It is a little strange to think about this man as a pet but really, it is his own fault. Who is like “Let me be a house pet for my animagous”? Granted, Peter did decide that his would be a rat which was just as weird if not weirder.

Maybe this group of friends wasn’t as cool as we thought they were. They all picked weird things and one of them was a werewolf. But still, Sirius Black is a dog that I honestly would probably see on the street and feed because he looked too skinny.

Which can also be said about the man himself so it isn’t a surprise that Sirius as a dog looks like he needs a good bath and someone to take care of him.

Fang is great but lets also not forget about Fluffy and Sirius. Two good dogs who had a rough go of it but we love them all the same.
