Taylor Swift Faces Odd Rumor Romantically Linking Her To Ex-Boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal

Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal are facing an odd rumor.

Years after the couple was romantically linked to one another, a new report has hit the web which has incorrectly claimed that the couple could still be dating. Um, did they forget about her current relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn, who has been spotted with Swift numerous times in recent weeks?

On December 27, Gossip Cop shared the false report with readers, claiming the OK! Magazine item was one of the most outlandish rumors that Swift has faced in 2017.

Jake Gyllenhaal isn’t the only ex Taylor Swift has been linked to in 2017

Prior to the report regarding a possible reconciliation between Swift and Gyllenhaal, Swift faced rumors linking her to a couple of other ex-boyfriends, including Conor Kennedy and Tom Hiddleston.

As for the Swift and Gyllenhaal rumor, OK! Magazine claimed the former couple linked back up in New York City during the time he was starring on Broadway.

“Taylor was so young when they dated, she wasn’t ready for a serious relationship, but now she’s showing Jake how much she’s matured. She’s excited to see where things go,” an alleged source told the magazine.

In response to OK! Magazine’s report, Gossip Cop was told by an insider that there was “no truth” to the claim. Instead, Swift and Alwyn have been going strong since May 2017.

What’s next for Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn?

As Swift continues to promote her sixth studio album, Reputation, Gossip Cop has revealed that the couple is planning to celebrate the holidays, including New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day together.

Alwyn is also reportedly planning to join his girlfriend on tour in 2018.
