There was a category that was all about Gary Oldman on Jeopardy. More specifically, his deaths. So why no mention of Sirius Black? Who knows!
Gary Oldman is known for a whole slew of movies that we all idolize. So why did Jeopardy have an entire category for the deaths of Gary in movies and not include Sirius Black? As the category started, I knew I would do well.
Gary is one of my favorite actors, so I figured, for once, I would do well in Jeopardy. I was right, I got them all correct, but I was upset when the category finished and not a single question was about Sirius Black. Did the writers just not think about the Harry Potter series?
Or do you think that someone there is a huge Harry Potter fan and couldn’t stand to relive the death of Sirius Black again on national television? Whatever the case may be, to me, it was a shocking miss by the Jeopardy crew.
Sirius Black is one of Gary’s most famous roles, at least the one that brought him into most of our lives, so the fact that the character wasn’t featured in a category of other of Gary’s characters who have died is strange. That’s like talking about his best roles and leaving out Winston Churchill (which he’s getting Oscar buzz for).
So do I want Jeopardy to make it up to me and give me an entire category about Sirius Black? Yes. Bring me on and let me win all the money.
