Taylor Swift’s Boyfriend Gave Her A ’13’ Pendant On Her Birthday

Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn are going strong and last week, in honor of the singer’s 28th birthday, the actor presented Swift with a gorgeous “13” necklace.

According to a new report, Alwyn enlisted the help of a jeweler who created the 13 pendant with huge diamonds that came together to perfectly form into the shape of Swift’s favorite number.

What does ’13’ mean to Taylor Swift?

As Hollywood Life revealed, the number 13 is also the day of Swift’s birthday in December. In addition, Swift turned 13 years old on Friday the 13th and her very first self-titled album, Taylor Swift, went platinum in 13 weeks.

As for the meaning of the necklace, Swift appears to have taken a liking to the jewelry item in recent weeks. In fact, she included lyrics about necklaces in two of her songs from Reputation.  According to Hollywood Life, Swift’s “Call It What You Want” features the line, “I want to wear his initial on a chain round my neck,” and “So It Goes…” includes the lyric, “wear you like a necklace.”

How did Taylor Swift celebrate her 28th birthday?

Hollywood Life revealed that Alwyn planned “a surprise romantic dinner and an intimate night alone” for the two of them, according to a source. Prior to Swift’s big day, she and her boyfriend were seen spending time with one another in New York City where they attended a number of KIIS-FM Jingle Ball events and didn’t hesitate to showcase their PDA.
