Taylor Swift’s “End Game” has skyrocketed up the Top 40 charts, surging from 83-39 in its third week on the Hot 100.
After the release of Taylor Swift’s sixth studio album reputation, her hit song “End Game” has had some major success on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. “End Game” is now reputation’s fifth top 40 hit, following her others “Gorgeous” (No.13), “Look What You Made Me Do” (three weeks at No.1), “…Ready For It?”(No.4) and “Call It What You Want” (No.27).
“End Game” has managed to score 7.6 million U.S. streams in the tracking week, according to Nielson Music. It has also jumped from 15-10 on the Digital Songs Sales chart, up 40 percent from last week and has sold 24,000 downloads this past week alone. It has also managed major success on the Radio Songs chart with 31 million audience impressions. The song is bound to garner more success as the weeks go on, and if the rumors are true, the success will skyrocket once the music video is released.
“End Game” tallies for Swift’s 55th top 40 Hot 100 hit, making it the fifth best total in the history of the chart. Elvis Presley leads with 80 top 40 titles, dating to the chart’s launch on August 4, 1958. This calls for a major celebration and is a huge win for Swift as reputation continues to break records and make history. Are we at all surprised? Nope. And we shouldn’t be.
