Most wonderful time of the year? More like the time you’re most likely to have a full-on meltdown. You’re not alone. Here are the best meltdowns on TV.
Yeah. Yeah. The holidays are wonderful, and we’re all supposed to love them unilaterally. But we all know that’s a pipe dream. In fact, the holiday season is one of the most stressful, chaotic, and maddening time of the year. Don’t at me, folks. You know it’s true. But don’t worry. You’re breakdown is in good company. Here is a list of 25 of the best meltdowns on TV.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m in no way making light of the mental anguish that comes from the season, the family togetherness, the incessant, forced cheer and overindulgence. I’m not here to detract or mock, only to commiserate. I’ve compiled a list of 25 tantrums, meltdowns, crack-ups and breakdowns.
Most of these aren’t a direct result of holiday stress, but anyone of these could happen at your family’s Christmas dinner or Hanukkah celebration. Although you might not have the luxury to indulge in a (much deserved) meltdown, you can work out some of your anxieties, frustrations, and worries while flipping through 25 of the most iconic meltdowns in recent TV history (which may contain some scenery or language that might be cathartic, if not safe for work or family members).
Some are a little more histrionic than the others, but I guarantee you, most of them are satisfying beyond measure. Think of this list a public service measure, to save you from whatever horrifying, mortifying, and destructive thing you’re about to do. This list has you covered for in the way of vicarious hysterics.
