Taylor Swift Featured on January Issue of British Vogue
By Kara Johnson
Taylor Swift has been unveiled as the cover star of the January issue of British Vogue, the first magazine cover Swift has done in a while.
The magazine cover was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the same photographers that shot Swift’s reputation photoshoot. In the cover, Swift is wearing a Saint Laurent dress by Anthony Vaccarello. According to Vogue, the Taylor Swift spread features a 12-page shoot.
The cover follows the release of Swift’s sixth studio album reputation. It displays her transformation since 2014, and we can certainly tell the superstar has grown up. It’s bound to be a great issue and we hope that every Swiftie can get their hands on one.
After the cover was announced, Swift took to Instagram to tell her fans a little bit about the shoot:
We are so happy British Vogue is the one magazine Swift has embraced and is the one that Swift is making her comeback with. Issues will be flying off the shelves and we certainly can’t wait to read the cover story. We can’t help but wonder what Swift will reveal. Here’s hoping it’s more about reputation and what she’s up to these days.
Her transformative fashion journey will be displayed in the issue, displayed what an unstoppable force the songstress is and how she has come from princess to reigning queen.
