Our top 5 favorite moments in the Avengers: Infinity War trailer

All of the mash-ups of Marvel characters

We knew it would come with the Avengers moniker, right? The weird mash-ups of different characters whose paths don’t normally cross.

Well, the trailer doesn’t give us too many closely detailed looks at the characters. It’s a lot of three-second group shots or close-ups. (Again, it’s just a teaser trailer. This movie doesn’t come out until May.)

But in those group shots, there’s so much to take in. You have Iron Man with Doctor Strange and Wong with Bruce Banner also there. Thor with the Guardians of the Galaxy (more on that later). Spider-Man taking on what is most likely Thanos’s ship in his awesome gold-accented costume from the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Not to mention the team-ups that make sense. Vision (very human-looking in one scene, literally screaming for his life in another) with Scarlet Witch, Black Panther with Captain America and Sam Wilson — and even that culminates to include Bucky, Black Widow, and the Hulk.

And the return of the Hulkbuster armor! At this point, what isn’t going to make a return in this movie? What characters aren’t we going to see? (Agents of SHIELD characters don’t count as legitimate guesses.)

One last question: where exactly are Ant-Man and Hawkeye in all of this?
