Taylor Swift and Ray Charles are Now Tied With Same Number of Hit Singles

Taylor Swift’s newest single “End Game” (featuring Ed Sheeran + Future) has debuted on the Hot 100 at No.86. According to Billboard, “End Game” is Swift’s seventy-fifth placement on the Hot 100, which measures the most popular songs every week in the U.S. Swift has reached a huge milestone and has now moved up on the list of musicians with the most appearances on the chart, and she’s tied with one of the greats, Ray Charles.
The pop star is now tied with Ray Charles in tenth place. Both have managed to garner 75 Hot 100 charting songs throughout their careers. Where women are concerned, Swift has reached second place, just seven songs behind Nicki Minaj.
“End Game” is the fifth song from reputation to make it on the Hot 100 following her lead single “Look What You Made Me Do,” second single “…Ready For It?” and promotional cuts “Call It What You Want” and “Gorgeous and it certainly won’t be the last. All four of the tracks thus far have broken into the top 40, and two have been top five hits. Once reputation hits streaming services at Midnight, there’s not a doubt that every song from the album will manage to make its way on the chart.
She’s a powerhouse and a force to be reckoned with. Who knows what record Swift will break next week. Only time will tell.
