Okay but for real, what if we got a Marauders series, JK ROWLING?

Time and time again we’ve talked about a Marauders television series but let’s take one more look. Why? Because it could be very interesting.

The Marauders are some of the best characters ever written. Not just in the Harry Potter series but throughout all of literature. These four friends somehow found each other and ended up as what we saw when Harry finally meets them all.

While we know sort of how they ended up there, we don’t know the whole story. So how interesting would it be to finally understand how Peter Pettigrew came to be Scabbers or why he betrayed the Potters and then Sirius.

We don’t even really know how these friends came to be. So imagine, if you will, a television show that shows us exactly how James Potter and Sirius Black grew so close. How they all reacted to Remus Lupin admitting to being a werewolf.

We would get to see this group of friends go through growing up, having lives, and then the inevitable death of their friend James. There is just so much richness to this story that no one is exploring and I think it is a waste that we don’t focus more on the Marauders.

Yeah, we could probably ignore everything and anything to do with Peter Pettigrew and be happy but Remus, James, and Sirius are such amazing characters that it would be wonderful to see them interact in a way that isn’t through Snape’s eyes or when Harry uses the resurrection stone.

They were best friends who were separated for years and even when they were reunited, it wasn’t for long. So it would be nice to see that time in their lives when they were close to one another. When they were best friends. And it’d be nice to just have more of these characters in general.
