This week may just be a week of epic proportions for Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars fans, as we’re getting an Avengers: Infinity War trailer.
Take a deep breath. Try to relax. Because this is going to be one heck of a ride.
Remember earlier this week when those leaks of Avengers: Infinity War started circulating? It wasn’t just the Vanity Fair article and covers. No, these were/are leaked screenshots from a potential teaser trailer.
Which led fans to believe said trailer was on its way.
Thankfully, the Russo Brothers all but confirmed this via their Facebook page. They posted a photo on Monday with the number “3,” making people (and CBR) believe it would come on Dec. 3.
Except they posted the below today:

It’s a countdown. And it has to be a countdown to the Infinity War trailer. There’s been so much press about the movie in the last week that Disney would be stupid not to post it.
The next question is: when will it premiere? At midnight? With Jimmy Kimmel (like most of the Marvel trailers)? Or in the evening?
There’s a Disney Magical Holiday Celebration on Nov. 30 on ABC that has already promised a tease for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. How epic would it be if the Celebration had both The Last Jedi and Avengers: Infinity War?
How much more dominant does Disney need to be? Will our hearts explode in excitement if we see both in the same programming?
Regardless of whether these two teases show up at the same time, premiering on the same day feels like a bit of a power move. A nerdy power move I am completely for because I want all of the teases. We deserve it all.
Update, 12:15 p.m. ET:
Just kidding!
The Infinity War trailer is coming tomorrow:
Infinity War and The Last Jedi information dropping that close together is still a power move.
Next: Brie Larson's filming for Avengers 4, to no one's surprise
Avengers: Infinity War premieres on May 4, 2018.
