We all live with our Wi-Fi attached to us at all times but what about Hogwarts? Do they have it? We’re looking at what our favorite witches and wizards did.
At Hogwarts, it seems as if they’re living in a different era. With quills and old books, everyone has been transported back. So what happens when the age of the internet hits Hogwarts? Look, I’m just saying if my friend was on Twitter and suddenly disappeared for the school year, I’d be a little concerned.
So does that mean that the students of Hogwarts get to have Wi-Fi privileges? Do they go on Twitter and complain about Professor Longbottom or Instagram their potions lessons? Are there special wizard social media platforms so no one knows that the wizarding world exists still?
It is all very interesting to think about. We live in an age of technology and while Harry and his friends went back to the muggle world and experienced it back in the 90s, what would happen to those who went to Hogwarts during 2017?
You can’t just abandon your social media presence anymore, someone would say something. So would wizards have to have fake accounts to keep up with the façade? Or would they just be forced to avoid social media and the internet as a whole? Personally, I’d be pretty made if I was a wizard and couldn’t tweet about stuff.
What kind of life is that? Tweeting about your problems is what makes them great. Everyone is in on it and you get to make friends! Come on Hogwarts, get some Wi-Fi.
