“Well first of all, he’s a great actor after all. And he’s handsome! Also he’s built like a brick –” and I stopped my mother there. If that’s not enough to sell you on Idris Elba, let me continue. Star of such amazing projects as The Office, Luther, The Mountain Between Us, Star Trek: Beyond and countless more, he came crashing into our lives and literally no one complained.

Everyone is in love with him and he just seems like the most genuine man out there. He’s sweet and he always is charming. And better yet, no one has ever had a bad word to say about him. That’s a rarity these days but with someone like him , it isn’t exactly surprising.

He’s just a great guy all around. And honestly, we’re lucky to have him as one of our leading men. As terrible as The Mountain Between Us was, it gave us snowing Idris Elba and that is honestly something that can save the world if we let it try. Because I truly have never seen anything more soothing than Idris Elba in a tan coat trying to save everyone from a crashing plane. And that’s not even starting to deal with his sultry voice.
