When it comes to the world of Harry Potter, his entire life is determined by the actions of Lord Voldemort. But what if Voldemort never existed at all?
The Harry Potter series wouldn’t be a thing without Voldemort. Why? Because he’d just be a normal wizard with a loving family who went to school and was probably a bit of a jerk to people. But that’s not the series we got since the Potters died and Harry and Voldemort were forever bonded.
We’re very interested in the backstory of Tom Marvolo Riddle because he is the reason we have anything to love. Which is honestly very weird to think about. We like him only because he gave us a series to love. Other than that, he’s terrible.
But without Voldemort, none of what we cling to would have come to fruition. But luckily people died for us to get the Boy Who Lived. See how weird that sounds? I mean, it is true. Without him, we’d have nothing.
But to think that we honestly owe our favorite series to a murderous villain who killed the parents of our hero is insanity. Again though, Voldemort may be a villain but he is the one who gave us the Harry Potter series. Weirdly enough but at least we all know that he is a bad guy and none of us like him. Right? (Well some people do but let’s not talk about that because that is a whole different thing. Who supports Voldemort in this situation?)
Next: Is Lucius Malfoy really a villain or is he a good guy too?
So without Voldemort, we would have no Harry Potter so I guess we weirdly have to thank Voldemort for killing the Potters? Or actually no. He’s terrible. But Voldemort and Harry are forever linked.
