Amazon’s best Cyber Monday 2017 deals

Amazon’s huge pile of Cyber Monday deals includes plenty of rotating deals, but there are some solid ones you can pick up right now.

There’s no way to give out the absolute best Amazon Cyber Monday deals in 2017 or in any year, frankly, because Amazon is, at this point, famous for its Lightning Deals, which switch after certain amounts of time. Some go more quickly than others — it’ll behoove you to put notifications on particular items if you don’t want to constantly refresh on Amazon or set reminders to check back at specific times.

But for those who have time to check back, don’t be surprised if you end up jumping on one of those deals. The whole goal is to get you to make an impulse purchase.

As sites like Best Black Friday point out, it appears that Amazon will go beyond just Cyber Monday for its sales, with the most consistent items likely going to be the Alexa and Kindle lines of items that Amazon sells. In fact, Amazon itself actually rounds up all of its house items on one page, and at the bottom confirms that it’s “Cyber Monday deals week” now.

Since it’s likely that a lot of people will jump on these deals, you may want to get your order in if your intention is to give these away as gifts … or if you have some travel coming up and want a fresh Kindle, now might be the time.

Additionally, if you’re shopping on Sunday, you can still get a discount on print books sold by Amazon (not Kindle books) — and this does apply to preorders, too. Although it might be hard to get up to $20 if you focus on paperbacks, you might get more bang for your buck there. Meanwhile, if you pick up a usually-discounted hardcover, that should get you close enough to get the $5 discount.
