Cyber Monday 2017: Her Universe’s best deals

Although Her Universe has some of the most unique designs out there for geeky fashionistas, it’s not always the most affordable of places. Now, that’s not a knock — and in this writer’s experience, the clothes are pretty great quality — but it does mean that sales are more important than ever.

The current sale might last until Cyber Monday, and it might not. All that Her Universe’s site says when you look is that it’s for a “LIMITED TIME ONLY” (all capital letters and everything). So, if you’re thinking about jumping on an article of clothing you’ve had an eye on, now might be the time.

You may find some great deals in the clearance section, where things are half off. Here, it’s probably best to focus on jewelry; you might not be able to find a particular shirt in your size, and frankly, there are some better discounts in the sale section.

All of the sale items are collected on one page. Scrolling through, there are plenty of Star Wars Funko Pop!s on sale. None of them are exclusive, but they’ll run you just $7.50 apiece — not a bad price when there are at least a few made for The Last Jedi, including Kylo Ren and Rey, available.

But here, the dresses and shirts are the best discounts. While shoppers of a certain size might not be able to get into the $10-a-piece or $20-a-piece junior-sized items, you might want to look carefully at the size charts for those items. You might just find that you’ll get a bigger discount. However, plus-sized shoppers do have pretty big discounts as well — about $5 more than the junior-sized items.

However, if you can’t find anything that tickles your fancy in those sections, everything else is 30% off. It’s not the biggest discount in the world, but it is a pretty big discount for Her Universe. You may want to jump on this sale.
