Epcot holiday events

While Epcot might have been considered the park of the future, this Disney theme park has taken on a bigger theme. For the holidays, Epcot showcases holiday traditions from around the world. The 15 holiday kitchens offer both new and traditional seasonal flavors. From the Cookie Nook with visually stunning cookies to a traditional Buche de Noel, guests can eat their way around holiday traditions.

The most anticipated holiday event at Epcot is the Candlelight Processional. Each year various celebrities come to read the classic Christmas story. This year’s Candlelight Processional will feature Kurt Russell, Pat Sajak, Neal Patrick Harris and Whoopi Goldberg. The story is accompanied by an orchestra and choir. The show takes placed several times a night Nov. 24 through Dec. 30.

In addition to the Candlelight Processional, Epcot will feature a variety of holiday entertainments. The various countries around the World Showcase will share traditional holiday favorites. Holiday music will put everyone in the holiday spirit. Also, a Hanukkah celebration will be included.

The Epcot holiday events are included with park admission. Food at the market places are an additional cost.
