Kaelan Rhywiol
Kaelan was born and raised in the Adirondack Mountains. Xie can now be found in Southern Ontario, surrounded by a massive amount of notebooks, xyr kids, cats and books.
Xie has published six erotic vignettes, a paranormal romance novella, and the first five volumes of Ilavani, a serial science fantasy romance. On April 30, xie’s full length novel, Bloodbound, will be published with NineStar Press. Bloodbound features own-voices representation for demisexuality, nonbinary, mixed-race rep, touch aversion, gray aromanticism, and bi/pansexuality.
Xie, in addition to editing for Thurston Howl Publications, also runs xyr own boutique press, Multifarious Press, which is dedicated to putting diverse books into the hands of readers who need them.
“There are so many diverse authors, stories and readers out there, just waiting,” the site states.
"Fantastic books that are getting shelved or worse, deleted; and diverse authors who are giving up their dreams because traditional publishing is incredibly slow on the uptake of diversity. Indie self-publishing is an incredibly successful business model for some diverse creators, but it isn’t for everyone. That’s why we’re here."
When xie isn’t writing, xie can be found reading, spinning wool, cooking, knitting, sewing and making jewelry.
Interested in learning more about xyr work? You can find them at xyr website and on Facebook. Xie can also be found spending “way too much time” on Twitter at @KaelanRhy.
