We don’t know about you but Taylor Swift’s song “Fearless” makes us want to dance in a storm in our best dress.
We may have a new album out and we have several songs that we can’t wait to feature, but this week, we can’t help but go back in time to Taylor Swift’s song “Fearless”. It’s a song that brings nostalgia to a much simpler time and a song that is timeless in fashion and one the listener will never grow tired of.
“Fearless” was co-written by Swift, Liz Rose, and Hillary Lindsay and was produced by Swift and Nathan Chapman. The track was released on January 3, 2010, as the fifth and final single from her sophomore album Fearless. She wrote “Fearless” about the fearlessness of falling in love but jumping anyway. The song peaked at No.9 on the Billboard Hot 100 with sales of 162,000 digital downloads, making it Swift’s third consecutive song to score a top 10 on the chart.
Not only has the song been successful on the charts but it’s also successful with its timely message. Her audience and anyone who has been terrified can relate to “Fearless” in their own way. It doesn’t have to be about falling in love, and that’s the beauty of the song. Every listener can take the song and apply it to their own life, making it yet another diary entry that speaks true to millions around the world. Indeed “Fearless” is an incredible song and is highly underrated.
