Taylor Swift’s sixth studio album reputation has only been out for one week and is already breaking some serious records.

The album hasn’t even debuted or charted yet, but reputation is already the best selling album of 2017 according to Billboard. It sold 1.05 million albums in just four days and is set to surpass 1989’s record of 1.28 million copies sold in its first week.

Reputation has already out-sold Ed Sheeran’s Divide, which previously held the title of America’s best selling album of the year. It’s the first album to surpass a million in sales in two years since Adele’s 25 scored  1.16 million in 2015 during its fifth week of sales. The album has already become Swift’s fourth album to sell over a million in its first week, following her 2014 release 1989 (1.28M), Red in 2012 (1.21M), Speak Now in 2010 (1.05M).

Official numbers for the album will be available on Sunday but we already know it has smashed records and has surpassed 1989 in sales. It is also expected to debut at No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart (unsurprisingly). Swift has already thanked her fans for the success of the album and has already performed a few songs on national television. Here’s hoping we will see more performances before the year is up.
