Has Taylor Swift grown tired of being primped and preened?

According to a recent rumor shared by OK! Magazine, the 27-year-old singer is ready to put her super-glamorous look behind her and embark on a more casual, relaxed style. However, there may not be much truth to the odd report.

Following the magazine’s claims that Swift was planning to undergo a make-under and stop oversharing her private life, Gossip Cop told readers that the report was completely false.

Is Taylor Swift refusing to attend red-carpet events or give interviews?

The OK! Magazine report claimed Swift wasn’t okay with lifting a finger or going out of her way for anyone unless the circumstances were “tightly controlled,” but that doesn’t seem to be accurate. In fact, she has been heavily promoting her new album, Reputation, since its release last week and recently appeared on Saturday Night Live. She’s even been making surprise visits to see her fans.

The magazine went on to say that Swift ditched her over-the-top pop star look in lieu of returning to her country roots for her appearance on Saturday Night Live. But, as Gossip Cop pointed out, the magazine shared an image of Swift that wasn’t even from the mentioned show. Instead, it was from her last-minute appearance on The Tonight Show.

OK! Magazine blames Joe Alwyn for alleged ‘make-under’ plans

The publication claimed Swift’s alleged plan to embark on a more low-key look was the result of her boyfriend’s desire to see her take on a minimalistic look.
