Taylor Swift Surprises Fans in Nashville by Showing Up at Target
By Kara Johnson
After every album release, Taylor Swift has made it a tradition to go to Target to buy her album and meet fans. When Reputation dropped, things weren’t any different and the tradition lives on.
Nashville residents who went out for a late night run to Target ended up running straight into Taylor Swift, literally. On Tuesday night, the songstress documented on her Instagram story that she would be heading out to Target to pick up her album and showed her fans from afar the entire experience from picking up the album, flipping through her magazines and snapping photos with fans along the way.
Swift is known for her close relationship with her fans and she made sure she stayed until she greeted everyone. While everyone fastly approached her, she embraced them with warm hugs and a smile. Several fans who couldn’t be there, she took the opportunity to FaceTime.
Swift even came up to those who were reluctant to talk with her and sparked up a conversation. Needless to say, she was as kind as ever and genuinely cared about every person in the store. She even stated on her Instagram story how they had walked around the entire store before buying the album.
The media may think Swift has a bad reputation but for those who know her and have met her know her real reputation, and it’s an outstanding one. If only we lived in Nashville.
