Celebrities are having their dirty laundry aired but some are still good ones. From Chris Pine to Kathy Bates, we’re looking at fun celebrity stories.
Chris Pine is now amongst one of the good celebrity story lists. It all started when Twitter user BAKOON posted a status asking for people to share good stories about their favorite celebrities. It came after wave of wave of terrible Hollywood news articles pouring out.
Just when it had began to seem like everyone person we idolized wasn’t great, this thread proved that there are still some good ones out there. While there are great stories, there are a few that really stick out.
First? Chris Pine. The Berkley grad apparently took a erotica class that seems like it could be a recipe for disaster. But according to his student-teacher, he was nothing but a gentleman and a great writer to boot!
My own story with Chris continues to prove just how cool of a man he is!
And sometimes, other celebrities shared stories about their coworkers. Mara Wilson, who you may know from Matilda, shared some of her favorite memories. One of which was one about Danny Devito and Rhea Pearlman taking her in when her mother was dying.
Salma Hayek danced with my little sister at a party once, as did Shannon Doherty, and Spice Girl Mel C played Connect 4 with her. Lucy Liu was so incredibly kind and lovely when we worked together when I was nine that she became one of my first big crushes.

From there, the stories only became legendary. Kathy Bates not only took selfies with this actor but joked with him, telling him to get his head out of his script and learn from her. And if that isn’t iconic, I don’t know what is.
I worked with Kathy Bates this year, who is a wiseass. At one point while I was reading my script she tapped me on the shoulder. “Get your face out of that and watch me work, you might learn something.” Then walked away. KILLED me. Kathy Bates!! Queen.

And then there are the weirder, pleasant encounters. Like Christina Ricci complimenting your strange shoe and sock combination or Elle Fanning holding open doors for you.
Christina Ricci complimented my old Sperry’s and hiking socks combo, and Elle Fanning held the door open for me and @RachelLeishman like two months ago. https://t.co/9tqZvzDrhW

Next: My weekend with Chris Pine…well, sort of. I saw Saturday Night Live
