Even with bright sunshine and warm temperatures, the holiday season has taken over Disney Springs. The Disney shopping and restaurant destination has lots of Disney holiday magic.

Disney Springs has become the “other” Disney destination in Orlando. Walking around the entire property is quite an experience. From scrumptious food choices to retail therapy, Disney Springs is popular with both out of town visitors and locals. Going into the holiday season, Disney Springs brings its version of Disney holiday magic to its guests.

While many of the restaurants and shops showcase the holiday spirit, the Disney holiday magic is best seen in the annual Christmas Tree Trail.

A stroll down the Christmas lane is fun for any Disney fan. This year, the experience is even bigger with 25 custom-decorated trees.

In Florida, the holiday spirit can be a little hard to find. The warmer temperatures and bright sunshine aren’t exactly the typical holiday season weather. But, with a little Disney holiday magic, the Christmas Tree Trail can feel a little like the holidays.

Similar to last year’s Christmas Tree Trail, guests stroll along Disney-themed Christmas trees. Each tree has a unique theme. From Disney classics like Cinderella to new favorites like Frozen, everyone enjoys taking pictures in front of the Christmas trees. More importantly, occasionally there is snow on the walk.

Like any magical Disney event, the Imagineers occasionally make it snow. The snow machines at the entrances add a little winter wonderland to the otherwise warm holiday Christmas tree walk. Just don’t eat these snowflakes or try to build a snowman.

The Christmas Tree Trail isn’t the only Disney holiday magic at Disney Springs. Santa will be greeting all the children at Santa’s Chalet. Whether the kids have a long wish list or parents just want the annual holiday photo, Santa will be at his chalet till Dec. 24.

Last year, Disney Springs offered an amazing aerial holiday drone show. This light spectacular mesmerized everyone with the technical precision and elaborate holiday display. Hundreds of drones created holiday visuals set to music. For this year, Disney hasn’t mentioned that the drone show will return. Hopefully, it will make another appearance.

Beyond the Christmas trees and Santa, Disney Springs offers lots of fun, entertainment and shopping. People can cross off their holiday shopping list, grab dinner and watch a show all within this area. Even just walking around the complex, there are free performances during the evenings. Granted, everyone might be wearing shorts, but the holiday spirit is still strong.
