Perez Hilton shared an image of Taylor Swift’s alleged track list earlier this week ahead of its official debut and shortly thereafter, he received a take down notice from her team. But the drama didn’t end there and as the track list continued to circulate online, Hilton’s Twitter account was suspended.
A short time later, Hilton took to YouTube where he shared a six-minute video to about his side of the story.
Perez Hilton denies doing anything illegal to Taylor Swift
“Taylor Swift is responsible for me being suspended. Earlier today I was talking about many journalists who have felt bullied by the Taylor Swift machine,” he explained, according to a November 8 report by In Touch Weekly magazine, also noting the recent controversy surrounding Swift and the ACLU.
According to Hilton, he’s a victim of Swift’s wrath, which he’s never felt before. As he explained, he had no idea whether or not the track list for Swift’s upcoming album, Reputation, was real or not. In his post, a man’s hand was seen holding Swift’s album with the back of Reputation exposed.
Is Taylor Swift going to sue Perez Hilton?
While there doesn’t appear to be any lawsuit filed against Hilton at this point in time, he says he will “hit up the ACLU” if it comes to that.
As In Touch Weekly magazine revealed, Swift’s official tracklist was ultimately released just one day after the fiasco with Hilton took place and her entire album, Reputation, will be released tomorrow, November 10. The following day, Swift will perform two of her new songs on Saturday Night Live.
