Sarah Hyland doesn’t want anyone insinuating that her friend Taylor Swift has gone under the knife and recently fired back at Life & Style magazine for sharing such an odd report on the 27-year-old singer.

On November 3, after the magazine’s official Twitter account shared a screenshot from Swift’s latest music video and asked their readers if they believed she had gone under the knife, the Modern Family actress sounded off in a tweet of her own, slamming the magazine for judging Swift and other women on their looks.

Sarah Hyland wants the rumors and judgement to stop

“CAN YOU F**KING STOP?!?! Let’s empower women instead of judging their looks. There’s more to us than that,” she wrote in a November 6 Twitter post.

Right away, fans of both Hyland and Swift flooded the actress with comments — and tons of gifs of people clapping. In their messages, many fans thanked Hyland for taking a stand against the rumors and others simply backed her up on her tweet.

Life & Style magazine targeted Sarah Hyland earlier this month

According to a Hollywood Life report, Hyland clapped back at Life & Style magazine last week after the outlet shared a story about her own evolving looks from the past 10 years. As the report explained, the magazine took aim at the actress and speculated about her potential plastic surgeries.

In her tweet back to the magazine, Hyland took aim at Life & Style and encouraged them to delete their article entirely instead of simply taking the alleged doctor’s comments out of the piece.
