Mr. Robot season 3 continues, as the show follows up last week’s flashback episode with one that seems to promise trouble for everyone.

After an episode that was basically one big flashback, Mr. Robot appears as if it will get back to business this week.

“eps3.2_legacy.so” not only filled viewers in on the whereabouts of Tyrell Wellick for the past season, its look back at the past offered multiple new revelations and questions, specifically about Whiterose’s plans, a mole in the FBI and Tyrell’s obsession with Elliot.

But as intriguing this episode was, it didn’t exactly move the series’ (or season’s) overall plot forward.

It looks as though “eps3.3_metadata.par2” will not have that problem.

If the official synopsis is anything to go by, many of our main characters will face some degree of trouble this week. It appears Dom has a bigger part to play. And it looks like that Tyrell and Elliot partnership we spent all last week learning about? It is probably not long for this world.

"dom has a close call. elliot chases himself with darlene on the lookout. mr. robot doesn’t have a need for swede. angela gets savage AF."

The information revealed in “eps3.2_legacy.so” raises interesting questions about where this episode could be going. Does Dom’s “close call” involve the fact that Elliot himself figured out that she and the FBI were spying on him?? Or does it have something to do with the fact that her boss Santiago is actually a Dark Army double agent? It honestly could go either way, which is part of the ridiculous tension this show does so well.

The trailer for “eps3.3_metadata.par2” is predictably vague on virtually every point. But it’s nevertheless incredibly tense.

Perhaps the most intriguing tidbit that the “eps3.3_metadata.par2” promotional materials dangle in front of us? The idea that we could get a better look at Angela’s motivations in season 3. Thus far, we know she had a…somewhat shady and extremely strange meeting with Whiterose at the end of season 2. Now, all of a sudden, she’s a hardcore Dark Army true believer. And she’s suddenly okay with manipulating her BFFs mental illness to gt what she wants. How? (And where’s the flashback episode on that, huh?)
