Selena Gomez participated in an interview with Beats Radio 1 radio host Zane Lowe earlier this week and during the interview, which was held to promote her new single “Wolves,” the 25-year-old singer spoke of the upcoming album of her longtime friend.

Weeks before Taylor Swift’s sixth studio album, Reputation, Gomez said that the compilation of songs is “so inspiring” and applauded Swift for changing herself for the better.

Taylor Swift is ever-evolving, at least according to Selena Gomez

“It’s really cool to surround yourself with people and be involved with people who are inspiring and changing the way they dictate what they love,” Gomez explained to Lowe, according to a report by Pop Sugar on October 26, adding that Swift is one of the people who is ever-evolving.

As fans have seen thus far, Swift has said goodbye to the old Taylor and reinvented herself ahead of the release of her new album on November 10.

Selena Gomez is so proud of Taylor Swift

Continuing to speak of her longtime friend, Gomez said that she loves Swift “so much” and is thrilled to see her doing what she does best. She also said that Swift was “killing it” and noted that her new album is everything fans could possibly want — and more.

“[I’m] very proud, and obviously [a] major fan,” Gomez added.

Gomez is also in the midst of releasing a new album and prior to the release of her latest single, “Wolves,” which debuted on Wednesday, she released “Bad Liar” and “Fetish” to her many fans.

No word yet on when Gomez’s new album will be released.
