Harry Potter generation and life or death situations

It is an interesting concept to think how we, as the Harry Potter generation, would react to something. So what about a dire situation?

The Harry Potter generation is always up for a challenge. But a point was brought up to me recently: how would we react to a world ending situation? While I was watching Pacific Rim, my friend pointed out that it is very much how 90s kids would think to stop the world from scary monsters.

So what if we applied that to the Potter fans? How would we try and solve a problem like the monsters of Pacific Rim? Well, it is a little different because we don’t necessarily have the ability to just summon magical powers like the government could create robots to fight off monsters.

But it is an interesting to think about. Personally, I think we’d take a more political stance. Since we can’t exactly conjure up magic to use to fight the monsters, we’d have to logistically figure out how to take them down.

Much like how Harry had to figure out how to take down Voldemort, we’d have to find what is keeping them coming after us and trying to stop it. Which, unfortunately, means we’d need drift compatibility.

Which brings me to another point: Out of Harry, Ron, and Hermione, who would be drift compatible? Personally, I think Harry and Hermione would be the most drift compatible. They both need the other to help them because the best of their abilities so while being connected to the Jaeger, they’d be able to do the most together.

So while this crossover could never happen, it is a fun one to think about. Especially when you start breaking down who would be drift compatible!
