Taylor Swift may be taking aim at her former boyfriend, Calvin Harris, on her upcoming album, Reputation.

According to online speculation, many fans have convinced themselves that Swift will be speaking of her 15-month romance with the DJ on at least one of her upcoming songs due to a recent teaser clip shared online.

In the teaser clip, an image of a dark night with lighting bolts is seen and, as fans have pointed out, the image is quite reminiscent of the album art for Calvin Harris and Rihanna’s 2016 hit, “This Is What You Came For.”

Did Taylor Swift tease a Calvin Harris diss?

As fans likely know, the song was an item of contention between Swift and Harris after their spring 2016 split.

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris began dating in 2015

After being introduced to one another at the 2015 Brit Awards in London, England by mutual friend Ellie Goulding, Swift and Harris began dating. However, after just over a year, rumors began swirling in regard to their split and in June 2016, Swift went public with a new romance with actor Tom Hiddleston, whom she’d been seen spending time with during the Met Gala in New York City weeks prior.

Around the time Swift and Harris broke up, it was revealed that Swift was behind Harris’ hit song, “This Is What You Came For,” but had written the track under an alias. A short time later, Harris took aim at Swift in a series of tweets.
