Marvel’s Inhumans season 1 episode 5 preview: Something Inhuman This Way Comes

Over the halfway point in Marvel’s Inhumans’ first season, what can the next episode hold? Here’s the official synopsis and our weekly preview.

Marvel’s Inhumans keeps packing the punches. And Maximus keeps getting more and more annoying.

So where did we leave off after this last episode? Well, our Royal Family slowly finds their way to each other. And by that, I mean Black Bolt and Medusa finally crossed paths on Hawaii, with a little help from Louise. They also take one of Auran’s team members into their custody because why not?

Gorgon’s still looking for Karnak and trying to shake off his Hawaiian friends because they’ve become family. And Karnak’s off getting friendly with the weed growers, which… okay, sure, why not? I feel like that was the theme for the last episode.

Here’s the official synopsis, courtesy of ABC:

"On the run from Auran’s forces, Black Bolt and Medusa reluctantly work with Louise to help locate the rest of their family. Back on Attilan, Maximus’ actions change the game completely."

I’m very bummed that Desmond/Declan turned out to be working with Maximus and is actually kind of a bad guy. I always get excited when I see LOST alums pop up in my shows, especially when they’re one of my favorites.

As long as he doesn’t show up in a season finale after having disappeared on a boat off Hawaii, I think we’ll be fine.

I digress.

Now that Medusa and Black Bolt are reunited, what’s in store for the Royal Family? You’ve got to think with only a few episodes left, the action will start coming faster and faster. These two are the rulers over the Inhumans for a reason.

Maximus shouldn’t take that lightly.
