Taylor Swift is launching a new app with the same company that put Kim Kardashian’s app on the map. Oh, and she’s also named her collection of emojis Taymojis, which sounds very similar to Kardashian’s Kimojis.

As Swift fans have surely heard, Swift spoke out on YouTube earlier this month, revealing that she has a new app coming soon and that the app, The Swift Life, would include emojis inspired by her and her life.

Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian are sharing an employer

After Kardashian’s app, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, made a whopping $100 million in its first two years, Swift sparked rumors of possibly following in the reality star’s footsteps when she signed her own deal to work with Glu Mobile.

Glu Mobile has also created Katy Perry Pop, Britney Spears: American Dream, and Nicki Minaj: The Empire.

Did Taylor Swift copy Kim Kardashian?

While Swift’s Taymojis seems to be inspired by the emoji collection of her longtime nemesis, there is no real reason to think that Swift specifically copied Kardashian. After all, several celebrities before her have launched their own line of emojis using their first name in the title.

Swift and Kardashian’s feud began years ago and appears to be in full-swing at the moment, especially after Swift allegedly took aim at Kardashian and her husband, rapper Kanye West, in her new music video for “Look What You Made Me Do,” which was the first single off of Swift’s upcoming new album, Reputation.
