Crazy Ex-Girlfriend: Josh’s Ex-Girlfriend Wants Revenge recap

The time has come, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is back and Rebecca Bunch isn’t exactly the woman we know and love from season past anymore.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend found us hoping for the best for Rebecca Bunch at the end of season 2. And honestly, the beginning of season 3 isn’t much better. Basically, the premiere finds us searching for Rebecca.

Leading the pack is obviously Heather, Paula and Valencia but, surprising, Nathaniel (looking very good I might add) wants to make sure Rebecca is safe. So much so that the entire small provincial town of West Covina is searching for her.

No really, the local Twitter trends include the hashtag #WheresRebeccaBunch.

From there, Rebecca begins to plan her revenge (said with a terrible French accent) against Josh Chan. Her friends try and follow along with her but her plans range from giving him poop cupcakes ala The Help and creating a fake sex tape with fake Josh where he climaxes and screams “I hate Jesus”.

None of it is prime Rebecca but it does lead to some amazing moments. Like when Nathaniel comes over to check on her sweaty after his run and looking really good. Honestly, maybe I’m just starting to like him more and more. He’s hot!

Finally though, Rebecca seemingly realizes how insane her plan is. So the girls have a wine night and just reflect on how fun it can be to generalize all straight men to make themselves feel better.

At the end of the episode, we see more of Nathaniel trying to whoo Rebecca, Paula come up with a brilliant plan to get back at Josh, and Rebecca still enacting her terrible poop cupcake plan.
