J.K Rowling and the spider that loved to rebuild

Most people don’t really like spiders but J.K Rowling gave us Aragog. Well, now the spiders are trying to give her a message.

No one loves a spider (or I’m sure some people do) but apparently J.K Rowling has found an unlikely fan in one. Basically there is a spider that keeps making a web on her writing room doors and she’s tired of the antics.

The Harry Potter author took to Twitter to share her thoughts and fears about this new eight legged friend. She talked about how every day, she had to destroy the cobweb to go into her writing den. So A) she continually broke the work of this intruder and b) the spider just kept coming back.

Rowling then posed some questions about the beast in question. Was this the same spider? Did it continually come to the same spot?

Well, fans had some ideas about what it means. One in particular insinuated that it was a message from the universe, telling Rowling to write the Aragog story that some people want. (I hate spiders so I, therefore, hate Aragog. All spiders should die.)

Overall, it is just interesting that this spider kept building a cobweb in the same area despite its constant destruction. Spiders are not necessarily dumb creatures. But this one just wanted to keep rebuilding its lair over and over again.

Or maybe it was a message, some higher being really loved Aragog and wanted Rowling to give us more of his story. Whatever the case may be, many of us still hate spiders.

Next: Halloween and Harry Potter: Does anything good ever happen?

Much like Ron Weasley himself, most fans (and people in general) do not like those furry eight legged creatures and even if they’re helping get rid of other bugs, I don’t personally care. Spiders could die out and I could be swarm by mosquitoes and that’d be absolutely fine.
