Star Wars: The Last Jedi: 3 things we want to know after the second trailer

Last night’s fresh look at Star Wars: The Last Jedi might have shown us more, but we still don’t know everything about the movie.

In case you stayed off of Twitter last night — and we wouldn’t blame you a bit if you did — you may have missed the Star Wars fandom completely losing its mind over the latest look at The Last Jedi (and the attending frenzy to pick up tickets). Hence the trailer being right up there.

We’re going to build on some of the notes yours truly caught last night, offer some theories, ask some questions, and try and make a little sense of the two minutes above. Whether or not we’re right … well, that’ll have to wait until Dec. 15 (or Dec. 14 if you caught tickets to any of the preview screenings).

Either way, we know this for sure: we are not prepared for whatever’s going to come down the pike, galactically speaking. We might think that we are prepared, but it’s just not so. There’s too much at stake for this movie. Something’s going to give. Our money’s on us, frankly.

But as we prepare ourselves to break down, let’s get back to what we know, and what we know is from the trailer.
