Marvel’s Inhumans season 1 episode 3 preview: Divide and Conquer

Marvel’s Inhumans surges onto its third episode, leaving our Royal Family scattered across Oahu and Maximus with control of Attilan. Here’s the synopsis.

Marvel’s Inhumans premiered to decent numbers. Actually, better numbers than I would have guessed for all of the flack the show received beforehand.

And to be fair, the first two episodes weren’t the worst thing I’ve ever watched. They weren’t astounding or groundbreaking, but they weren’t terrible. If I suffered through Iron Fist, I can make it through this.

So with the third episode on the horizon for ABC this week, how do you think the ratings will fare? Better or worse? Did everyone catch up on the premiere by watching it later? Or will it fall off?

The official synopsis, courtesy of ABC:

"After fleeing their home, The Inhumans desperately search for each other in the wake of Maximus’ coup. Now they must learn who they can trust on Earth."

Well if this isn’t a blatant tie-in to Agents of SHIELD, I don’t know what else can be. Then again, we already know these two shows probably won’t touch each other. And does SHIELD have anyone ready near Hawaii? There’s not a lot of resources left after last season.

But wouldn’t it be so cool to have Coulson show up? Or another Inhuman like Daisy or Elena? Can you imagine the epicness of the Secret Warriors meeting the Royal Inhumans?

Plus the fact that there’s a royal family of Inhumans and, you know, a secret base on the moon might shatter our earthly Inhumans’ little worlds. With Agents of SHIELD making its way to space this upcoming season, Daisy definitely has a way to get there and kick Maximus’s butt.

I’m really hyping this up way too much, aren’t I?
