Taylor Swift Nominated For MTV European Music Awards, Who Is She Up Against?
Taylor Swift was among the nominees named for the upcoming MTV Europe Music Awards on Wednesday morning.
According to a new report, Swift is up for Best Video, Best Artist, Best Look, Best Pop, and Biggest Fans.
Hollywood Life shared a list of nominees with their readers on October 4, revealing that Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” was up against the Foo Fighters’ “Run,” Kendrick Lamar’s “Humble,” KYLE and Lil Yachty’s “iSpy,” and Katy Perry and Migos’ Bon Appetit” for Best Video of the Year.
As for the Best Artist Award, Swift’s fellow nominees include Ariana Grande, Kendrick Lamar, Miley Cyrus, Shawn Mendes, and her longtime friend, Ed Sheeran.

Seriously! Swift’s infamous Swifties have landed on the nominee list alongside the enthusiastic fans of Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, and Shawn Mendes.

In addition to the Best Video of the Year Award, the Best Artist Award, and the Biggest Fans Award, Swift is competing for the Best Look Award, which also includes nominees Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Rita Ora, and Zayn Malik, and the Best Pop Award, which Camila Cabello, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, and Shawn Mendes are also up for.
She’s also up for Best U.S. Act.
Considering she’s released just two songs in recent months, we’re betting that Swift is quite excited for the upcoming awards show, despite being pinned against her longtime nemesis, Katy Perry.
