Riverdale has a new promo and everything is still a mystery

With season 2 quickly approaching, we’re dying for more Riverdale news, but it seems as if we’re still lost in the mystery of what this new season holds.

The Riverdale season 2 promo is here and honestly, I have some questions. The promo doesn’t really do much to answer our burning questions from the season 1 finale. What’s happening with Fred? Is his life still in danger?

Well, that much is actually answered. The trailer makes it clear that Archie’s dad isn’t safe. Really, is anyone safe in Riverdale? More than that though, at least we know all our favorites are coming back.

The promo really just gives us glimpses of our favorite characters and makes it clear that Archie and Veronica are still together as are Jughead and Betty.

But what else can we expect from season 2? Well there is a picture that surfaced of FP and Jughead at Pop’s diner where FP is working there. And whether it is a dream sequence or reality, we’ll have to wait and see once the show premieres.

Other than that, there isn’t much we know. Everything from season 1 is clearly still established and there haven’t been too many spoilers about what’s to come. My prediction is that we’re going to end up spending a good chunk of the season figuring out who shot Archie’s dad and why.

Will Jughead still remain a Serpent, and is FP going to stay in jail? What about our favorite best friends Betty and Veronica? Will their friendship remain strong? (CBR seems to think not, but we’re still hopeful.) We’re going to have to wait until the season 2 premiere to get some answers but I personally can’t wait!
