Please send J.K Rowling some pictures of otters

While J.K Rowling gave us one of the greatest series of all time, right now, all she seemingly wants is pictures of otters to make her happy.

Everyone is a little depressed right now and that includes J.K Rowling. The Harry Potter author reached out to Twitter yesterday to beg them to send her pictures of cute otters. And honestly, it might be the most relatable she’s ever been.

Haven’t you ever just had one of those days where you want to sit and cry about the state of the world? Well that’s what Rowling was feeling until she decided to have her followers send her pictures of otters to make her day better.

But of course there were trolls. Not only did Rowling get a lot of otters coming her way but fans also took to sending pictures of kittens as well as comments. Because you know, we can’t ever have something nice without someone else wanting to comment on it.

Still though, Rowling’s question made for quite the fun adventure. We all got to see a whole bunch of otters on our timelines and it, in turn, made for a great question to be asked. What would you ask people to tweet at you to make you feel better?

Personally, mine is either French bulldogs or Chris Pine pictures. Both those things are incredible and would make anyone smile, much like Rowling’s otters. Did you know they hold hands while they sleep so they don’t drift away from each other? You know, just in case you needed something else to cry about today.
