Make it work: Project Runway experience opens in NYC
Fans of the fashion reality TV show can have their own make it work moment. The Project Runway experience opens at Madame Tussauds New York.
Project Runway has brought high fashion to viewers. These fans diligently watch every episode, and critique the fashions and dream of strutting down the runway. Now, fans can get the ultimate fan experience with the Project Runway experience at Madame Tussauds New York.
Recently unveiled at Madame Tussauds New York, this Project Runway experience is an interactive exhibit at the famous wax museum attraction. The interactive experience has five parts. Project Runway fans and fashionistas can “style their own virtual runway looks, become the cover star of Marie Claire magazine and walk the runway with a new wax figure of Heidi Klum.”

How it works
The idea behind this exhibit is to bring fashion to the fans. From a design studio to strutting the runway, fashion fans and Project Runway fans will be immersed in the whole experience. Although guests won’t cut and sew their own designs, they will digitally create a runway-worthy look.
To finish the whole Project Runway experience, guests will come face to face with Heidi Klum (the wax figure of Heidi Klum). Although Heidi doesn’t say you’re in, out or “Auf Wiedersehen,” guests can take pictures with her wax figure.
This new exhibit appeals to both Project Runway fans and fashionistas. Reality television show fans are fiercely loyal. They follow every episode, scrutinize each elimination and support their favorite contestant. This new experience allows the fans to get a glimpse at what it is like to be a real-life part of the show.
For fashionistas, New York is the epicenter of fashion. From high-end designers to the currents, New York has it all. This fashion experience can bring out anyone’s inner designer and fashion star. From the perfect magazine pose to the superior runway strut, everyone can be the supermodel of their dreams.
