Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande were rumored to have teamed up earlier this year when Swift allegedly leant her private jet to Grande following the attack on Manchester.

Then, a short time later, it was confirmed that Grande hadn’t actually played a role in helping Grande and her family, including her mother Joan, travel from England to their hometown in Boca Raton, Florida. Instead, a source told TMZ, it was Grande’s tour promoter, Live Nation, and her manager, Scooter Braun, who split the bill.

Although Swift may not have leant her private jet to Grande months ago, an Elite Daily article on September 23 suggested that they had been quite civil with one another in the past. As the outlet revealed, the singers appeared to first meet in 2014 when they performed alongside one another at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande have remained in touch for years

Following the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Swift and Grande were seen in a social media photo shared on Swift’s account, which suggested that Grande was the “cutest.” Then, at the start of last year, the two were seen sharing a hug with one another at the 2016 Grammy Awards.

Ariana Grande was ‘down’ to join the Taylor Swift squad in 2016

“Oh wow! That would be so crazy,” Grande said during an interview with Capital FM.

Continuing on to the U.K. radio station, Grande asked if she would have to do anything weird to get in before noting that Swift and her squad were all really nice. She then said she would “just be so down” to join the squad of female celebrities.
