The first three hosts of Saturday Night Live were announced and so we’re looking at who else we hope to see in season 43!
Saturday Night Live has been bringing out the big guns in the last few seasons. And the beginning of season 43 is no different. With Ryan Gosling, Gal Gadot, and Kumail Nanjiani taking the first three episodes, there are plenty of options for the rest of the season. So who do we want to see?
Well we’re looking at five hosts we’d like to see take on the sketch show. Will they be great? Or will they even get an episode? Who knows but it’d be fun to see them take one Lorne Michael’s and the ever amazing Saturday Night Live.
Billie Lourd
The daughter of the late, great Carrie Fisher has been making a name for herself for some time now. So why not let her follow in mom’s footsteps and host the show? She’s currently on American Horror Story: Cult and could be promoting it. And honestly, does she need a reason? It’d just be a fun little episode to have!
Oscar Isaac
Star Wars Episode VIII is coming and that means it is perfect time to get Oscar Isaac on SNL. He can sing, he can dance, and he’s funny. So why not have him take on the show? He’d be great and he’d bring in a big audience with the Star Wars fans as well as Oscar’s fans in general.
Jason Momoa
So Justice League comes out in November so who better to host then Aquaman himself? And it helps that Jason Momoa is extremely funny! We all love him and he’s going to be a big deal in the new movie so why not just have him promote the movie while hosting?
Josh Gad
Another November release is Murder on the Orient Express which means that we can have Josh Gad taking the hosting duties on. We already know that he’s a pretty funny guy, we’ve all seen him in Book of Mormon. And it’d just be fun! Imagine all the Frozen jokes we’d get!
Harrison Ford
Now look I know that Ryan Gosling is definitely the one hosting to promote Blade Runner 2049 but it’d be so fun to see Harrison Ford take on Saturday Night Live. I’ve said it repeatedly but we may have missed our chance. Still, it’d be fun if Harrison took to the SNL stage.
Next: Blade Runner might bring back Sean Young and honestly why?
