What would Harry Potter be like through Draco Malfoy’s eyes

What if Draco Malfoy was different than everyone thought?

Fans often love to think about what Harry Potter would be like if told from the perspective of another character. Many people joke when talking about looking through the eyes of Draco Malfoy, because they assume he’d spend most of the time on the iWizPhone to his father.

But what if that weren’t the case? It’s easy to look at what we know and make light of what would happen, but who knows what Draco was actually going through. I’m not making light of anything Draco did throughout the series, but we know that by the seventh book, they regret what they got themselves into. Or perhaps are not as evil as they once believed.

Who knows about the secrets that lurk in the Malfoy household? Who knows the pressures that Draco was under? He was a pureblood Wizard, and probably under immense pressure to keep an air of being better than everyone?

We don’t know what the life was like for the son of a Death Eater. Is it like being the son of someone rich and needing to marry for money and mergers? Is everything planned for Draco from the moment he was born?

Maybe Draco was so mean not because it’s in his blood, but because he had so much pressure at home, and thought it was expected of him to be that way. I’m not trying to justify anything that Draco did throughout the books and movies, only opening a door.

While people laugh about a Draco book, maybe looking at the son of someone who worked for the villain could give us a new look. Is it possible we don’t know what it was like at all for Draco?

This is all just me guessing, and trying to find the best in people. I’m also a sucker for kindness hidden. What do you think?
