Taylor Swift Goes Behind-the-Scenes With the Birdcage in ‘LWYMMD’
By Kara Johnson
Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” music video has been a major hit and we’ve been able to go behind the scenes of the music video twice this week.
Swift released a small behind-the-scenes clip from the crafting of the birdcage in the “LWYMMD” music video and it’s definitely worth watching. It shows Swift who is quite comfortable with swinging up high in the giant set piece. “This was where I was meant to be” she shouts while swinging on her birdcage swing. In true Swift fashion, the singer takes any awkward moments to be had on set with great stride.
While it’s fun to watch Swift practice her birdcage swing skills, it wasn’t the most memorable. The greatest moment of the clip was watching Swift make friends with her rodent co-star who sits on top of her dinner plate in the video. Even in the midst of the rodent being on her plate, Swift can’t help but fawn over how cute she thinks it is. She even jokes about taking it home but soon realizes that the idea might not go over well with her cats. “They’ll try to really murder you hard,” she states.
